A juxtaposition of materials and form, the M2 - shelf is held by a base and backdrop of African Mahogany (mostly found in West Africa and Southern Nigeria). The shelf is held together with a powder coated frame as both materials lean on each other for stability and structural integrity.
The shelf bottom heavy, becomes lighter both visually and in its materiality with the aim of mimicking the 19th century igbo wooden sculpture, Ogbom.
